Located in the southern parts of Swaziland by the Ngwavuma River. The city is the fourth largest town in Swaziland and is the Capital city of the Shiselweni district.
The city was formerly known as Goedgeus however the name was changed to Nhlangano meaning the “meeting place”, probably inspired by the meeting of 1947 between King George VI and King Sobhuza. King George VI thanked King Sobhuza for his war effort.
