Consisting of a series of tropical islands this Archipelago is famous for the amount of wildlife and untouched nature that fills it. Most of the islands have been declared as a National Park since 1971. This means that you can enjoy the reefs, islands and small forests in relative privacy and easily leave with several life long memories.
Because the islands are part of a National Park it is illegal to camp on them, there are however several luxury accommodations available on them. For the more adventurous the surrounding towns of Vilankulo and Inhassaro can provide you with boat trips that will allow you the visit the Park as well as the mainland.
The Bazaruto Archipelago is one of the few places left on earth where the influence humans is hardly felt.
