Blyde Lodge is set in a garden atmosphere and guests will enjoy the privacy afforded by the rooms. Our luxury accommodation consisting of double rooms, all en-suite, spacious and well equipped. Each room has a private enclosed patio with coffee/tea making facilities and a television is standard in all the rooms with SABC programs. Our accommodation is serviced daily to conform to our high standards. Our family accommodation on the first floor consist of a 2 bedroomed apartment sleeping 4, with bath or shower and lounge.

We provide a BBQ area next to the swimming pool. Alternatively you can visit some of the favourite restaurants, "Glasshouse ", "Cannimambo", or "Loco" - all within walking distance. Daily breakfast's can be enjoyed at the famous "Harrie's Pancakes" or at the family restaurant "Silwerspoon" which is within walking distance from the lodge.

Graskop is situated at 1,430 meters above sea level in Mpumalanga's Drakensberg escarpment and is located on the shores of an ancient lake that existed here millions of years ago. Graskop is situated central in location from which to explore the surrounding region. The mountainous region has a mild climate, in contrast to the extreme heat of the lowlands. Graskop is also malaria-free. The location at the end of the small Drakensberg Escarpment with spectacular views of the Lowveld, which is about a thousand feet below.

The Blyde River Canyon: One of the most spectacular views in South Africa and its cliffs rise between 600m-800m from the river bed. This is the third largest canyon system in the world.

Bourke's Luck Potholes: This amazing natural feature marks the beginning of the Blyde River Canyon. Through countless centuries the swirling whirlpools which are formed as the Treur River falls into the Blyde River, causing waterborne sand and rock to grind cylindrical potholes into the bedrock of the river.

The Three Rondawels :The Three Rondavels viewpoint is an unforgettable view of three huge rock spirals rising out of the far wall of the Blyde River Canyon.

Waterfalls: In this area you will find the Forest, Lisbon, Berlin, Graskop, Mac Mac, Maria Shires Falls and in Sabie the Lone Creek, Bridalvale, Horse Shoe and Sabie Falls.

The Kruger National Park: This major international tourist attraction offers a wilderness experience which ranks with the best in Africa. The sight of the Big Five which includes elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo is always a thrill.
